Change!!!! & #WearpurpleFriday

Change, change, change! We're getting really good at plans and what we think is happening changing on us -it's basically expected now! I (Angie) don't do near as well with plans changing as Jacob does, but I am definitely learning how to be better and more flexible (not necessarily by choice haha). I talked with one of the MFM/OB doctors at The University of Utah a couple of times today. I really just wanted to know if we were scheduled for the 11th or the 12th since we had "reminder" cards for each day. Well after a couple of conversations and after my regular OB appointment today we are now scheduled for the morning of the 13th. At first I was a little disappointed because I've just been so excited to meet my little peanut, but after talking things through with Jacob and my Mom I am feeling a lot better about it, and see a lot of benefits to pushing it back another day. Our regular OB appointment went well today with no unexpected surprises, and our non-stress test was passed with flying colors. He was able to answer a lot of our questions and help alleviate some concerns that we had. We also took a look with the ultrasound just to double check and sure enough, little peanut is still happily breech. There is still a chance that he may turn before next week, but we aren't betting on it. We will check again once we get checked in at The U and then be able to discuss our plan and options with the OB group there.

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Friday) is Wear Purple Day as part of CHD Awareness Week. We would love to see all of you in purple to honor those fighting and those that have passed on from CHD. It would really mean a lot to us!
